Temperature Converter
Quick conversion between different temperature scales
Temperature conversion
Enter a value and choose temperature scales
❓ How the converter works
The converter translates temperature between Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin. Values are first converted to Celsius, then to the target scale. The result is rounded to two decimal places.
📐 Conversion formulas
Via Celsius
°C = (°F − 32) × 5/9
°C = K − 273.15
From Celsius
°F = (°C × 9/5) + 32
K = °C + 273.15
💡 Example
Convert 100 °C to Fahrenheit:
- °F = (100 × 9/5) + 32 = 180 + 32 = 212 °F
Convert 68 °F to Celsius and Kelvin:
- °C = (68 − 32) × 5/9 = 20 °C
- K = 20 + 273.15 = 293.15 K
🌡️ Reference points and tips
- Water boiling: 100 °C = 212 °F = 373.15 K
- Water freezing: 0 °C = 32 °F = 273.15 K
- Room temperature: about 20 °C = 68 °F
- Kelvin is an absolute scale: 0 K is absolute zero (−273.15 °C).
