🎲 How the generator works
The generator creates a random password of the chosen length from selected character sets: uppercase and lowercase letters, digits and symbols. Each position uses the cryptographically strong crypto.getRandomValues() — not plain Math.random().
Generation runs entirely in the browser — the password is never sent to the server. Length ranges from 8 to 64 characters (default 16).

Up to 20 points per criterion:
length > 12, uppercase, lowercase, digits, symbols
< 40 — weak · < 80 — medium · 80+ — strong
💡 Example
Default settings: length 16, all character types enabled:
- Alphabet: 26 + 26 + 10 + 29 = 91 characters to choose from
- Each character: random index via
crypto.getRandomValues - With length 16 and all types, score = 100 → “Strong”
If no type is selected, the generator shows “Select options!”.
🔒 Security tips
- Use passwords of at least 12–16 characters with mixed character types.
- Do not reuse one password across sites — create a unique one for each service.
- Store complex passwords in a password manager, not in notes or messengers.
- Enable two-factor authentication wherever possible.
- Copy puts the password on the clipboard — clear it after pasting on a shared computer.
